🛕Everyone deserves access to clean and safe sanitation.🚻
Gadidam village in Kasaba Hobli, Bagepalli Taluk, Chikkaballapura District, is home to over 500 families and 2,300+ residents. The village sees thousands of visitors every week during cultural events, marriages, and community gatherings. Unfortunately, there is currently no public toilet facility, causing immense inconvenience—especially to women, children, and the elderly.
Adding to this urgency, Gadidam is home to the popular Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Swami Temple, which draws large crowds year-round. During special events like Kalyanotsava and the grand annual Brahma Rathotsava, the village witnesses a footfall of over 1 lakh people. Despite being the second most visited temple in the district, there is no toilet facility available for visiting devotees.
Right To Live NGO has stepped in to address this pressing issue by constructing a Community Toilet, accessible to both residents and visitors. The estimated project cost is ₹9,00,000.
